This is the start of a research about color, gesture and form.

These paintings were made without a figure below, and the shapes are given only by colors and a pasty brushstroke.
The final effect seems very closer to a realistic painting, when it is not.

I pursue my target, trying to eliminate the guide drawing below the paint to get a vivid paint, fresh and immediate...

I want to emphasize the brightness of colours themself,
because the most important thing in a paint is simply the feelings transmitted by the colours on the canvas :)

Immagino di trovarmi al centro di una stanza rettangolare.

Quattro muri dipinti: rosso, verde, blu, giallo.

Non importa quanto sia vuota la stanza,

importa quanto la mente sia PIENA.

Un colore può suggerire alla nostra mente determinati spunti, 

il cui unico filo logico risiede proprio nel colore stesso.

Mi fido del mio occhio interiore

proietto in bidimensione queste immagini sulle pareti, le assemblo.

Lascio che lo sfondo ne inglobi le tonalità.

E' questo il senso di tutto..

o almeno ci ho provato.
